After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Mateus to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Vander's late challenge caught a Águilas Poblanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Vander helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Elpidio Chayo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Águilas Poblanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Chayo couldn't finish the play. When Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus in 9 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Caio dos Santos guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Águilas Poblanas fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Roberto Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio dos Santos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. If Sérgio Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Mateus in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Maties during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Maties to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Roger Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes, Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caio dos Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Águilas Poblanas reached it. The audience was convinced that Moises Nisio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio dos Santos was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Mateus in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caio dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Mateus's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes of play Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Guerau was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roger Rossi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Roberto Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio dos Santos was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Eurico Mazza got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Maverick Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Águilas Poblanas were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Eurico Mazza made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Eurico Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Roger Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roger Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 61st play minutes Roberto Mateus shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Caio dos Santos and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Roberto Mateus sped through Maverick Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caio dos Santos. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Elpidio Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águilas Poblanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Mateuss short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Caio dos Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roberto Mateus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Caio dos Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute, Águilas Poblanas's Elpidio Chayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Augusto Aritza hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Moises Nisio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maverick Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 79th minute, Moises Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Águilas Poblanas's Moises Nisio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caio dos Santos. That made the score 0-6 after 81 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Nisio in the 85th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87th play minutes Roberto Mateus shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Caio dos Santos and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Roberto Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio dos Santos was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Elpidio Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Águilas Poblanas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
