Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arturo Lehior started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Caio dos Santos was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Erasmo Maureo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Maureo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Caio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pedro Vander hit a great ball. Arturo Lehior was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arturo Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Caio dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Lehior in the 27th minute of play. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Eurico Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sérgio Dante came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Maverick Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Dante couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Jakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Jakes ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Maureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Maureo got free with Caio dos Santos in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Mazza to make the kick off. Arturo Lehior struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Caio dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Abel Coutinho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Victorino Nafarroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Percival Marinho. Eurico Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maverick Futebol Clube's Sérgio Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Maureo scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The San Lorenzo fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when San Lorenzo's Rodrigo Jakes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodrigo Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Caio dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Victorino Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the San Lorenzo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
