Christiano Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Cordareo in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Ildefonso Egoitz got a free kick in the 28th minute. When ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Marcos Santiago in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LauerArmy's goalie prevented a goal. LauerArmy's Christiano Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Cordareo in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Samuel Cordareo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiano Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcos Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Samuel Cordareo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LauerArmy's Christiano Fontes. Christiano Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Cugat struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Christiano Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ.

Ramiro Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Benedicto Galtero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's zone, Luiz Fernando Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Gizon came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Christiano Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Rodrigo Cugat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christiano Fontes. Christiano Fontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Cipriano Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ramiro Gizon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Pombal in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Gizon saved ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ from getting behind. Christiano Fontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Cugat in the 74th minute. Christiano Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ismael Almeida hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Marcos Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 89th minute, Raí Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Santiago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christiano Fontes came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Santiago slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 95th minute. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
