Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juninho Jacinto made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Jorginho Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal and Jorginho Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Enio Travassos scored to the left of an out of position Caio dos Santos, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Sérgio Dante got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Gonçalves. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juninho Jacinto during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Juninho Jacinto hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Percival Marinho. In the 27th minute, Roger Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enio Travassos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 28 minutes, Jorginho Maia made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Francisco Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Jacinto came free, but Mário Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Vitinho Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Caio dos Santos to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Travassos in the 47th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 51st minute Jorginho Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ademar Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maverick Futebol Clube's protests and gave Ademar Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. Ademar Montenegro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Maia in the 64th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Wilian Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrela Solitária's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maverick Futebol Clube the free kick. Wilian Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Enio Travassos took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio dos Santos. Caio dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 78th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Francisco Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Caio dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enio Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Betão Passos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Estrela Solitária's Jorginho Maia made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Estrela Solitária's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
