Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Lehior kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Ismael Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Erasmo Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Arturo Lehior cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christiano Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Chaves struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Amadeo Tabor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LauerArmy. Luiz Fernando Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Britto in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LauerArmy's zone, Jacobo Cucao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Fontes came out of the goal and Jacobo Cucao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Rodrigo Jakes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiano Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Cipriano Pombal took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Amadeo Tabor to make any attempt to save it. After 45 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Maureo. Amadeo Tabor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Pombal in the 46th minute. After the first half San Lorenzo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Fernando Britto made a kick off. If Luiz Fernando Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiano Fontes was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Arturo Lehior capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Lehior really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 65 minutes into the game, Arturo Lehior recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christiano Fontes. Arturo Lehior showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 70th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Reis to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Ismael Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LauerArmy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. LauerArmy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Arturo Lehior scored to the left of an out of position Christiano Fontes, making the score, 1-7. In the 79th minute, Maurinho Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Tabor having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's João Paulo Arce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Tabor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, one of San Lorenzo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 96 minutes, Desiderio Elia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo and the LauerArmy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Elia. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Amadeo Tabor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Lorenzo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
