The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Almeida during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ismael Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano de Souza came free, but Caio dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Cipriano Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio dos Santos. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Silvério Almeida hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Pombal in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Vander came free, but Christiano Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Fontes made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Sérgio Dante sent off a good shot on target. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pombal in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Pedro Vander's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Vander helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Vander. Christiano Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos got control of the ball when Cipriano Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caio dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cipriano Pombal sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the LauerArmy defense, Eurico Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Fontes. The LauerArmy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Fontes should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Percival Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Christiano Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Roger Rossi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Pedro Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Caetano de Souza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caio dos Santos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cipriano Pombals short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Caio dos Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maverick Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
