Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorginho Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, LauerArmy's Raí Reis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raí Reis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LauerArmy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raí Reis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 2nd minute, one of LauerArmy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LauerArmy. João Paulo Arce hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fernandinho Simão hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Estrela Solitária's zone, Jarbas dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Quirino came out of the goal and Jarbas dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitinho Gonçalves took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Fontes. Christiano Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Christiano Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho Palmeira hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Luiz Guilherme Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christiano Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Alagoano in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Francisco Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Alagoano came free, but Christiano Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano de Souza in the 58th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Mário Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mário Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Joaquim Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LauerArmy and the Estrela Solitária players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute Caetano de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Estrela Solitária was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Enio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Vitinho Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the LauerArmy defense, Francisco Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Fontes. The LauerArmy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Fontes should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Ismael Almeida notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Estrela Solitária's Mário Quirino. Mário Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Joaquim Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Estrela Solitária left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LauerArmy.
