Mircea Avacariței had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucas Valladares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Lucas Valladares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mircea Avacariței was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexandre da Cunha scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mircea Avacariței, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's Lucas Valladares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mircea Avacariței narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Fabrício Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, FC Urzicuța was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Văcăroiu to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Valladares, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Pacuraru didn't get a good kick on the ball. PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Pacuraru in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Martin Racoviceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Urzicuța and the PIRATAS TFP players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Martin Racoviceanu hit a great ball. When PIRATAS TFP's Alexandre da Cunha in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Urzicuța's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Iurie Ogășanu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Racoviceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's João Paulo Rossi got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Dan Oanță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Urzicuța's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Oanță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor de Medeiros in the 59th minute of play. After 67 minutes FC Urzicuța's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Valladares who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Manuel Vianna to score against Mircea Avacariței in FC Urzicuța's goal. 1-3 after 68 minutes. In the 73rd match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Prata to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, FC Urzicuța's Martin Racoviceanu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandre da Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Mircea Avacariței made a huge save. When João Vítor de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the PIRATAS TFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Vítor de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Fabrício Cruz's late challenge caught a FC Urzicuța's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrício Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of PIRATAS TFP:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Urzicuța:s goal. João Vítor de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Avacariței having to make a save.
