Luiz Fernando Figueiredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pavlin Karadimitrov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Paulo Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Manchester United F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.C. Corinthians Paulista throughout the match.
