Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovanni Arósio kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Valdemar de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floresta Negra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viseu United the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gonçalves. Floresta Negra FC's Geovanni Arósio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Orlando Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Branco having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Geovanni Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Branco was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th match minute, Viseu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Prada to maneuver through the defense. Floresta Negra FC's Valdemar de Mendonça shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by António Branco but with some difficulty. 15 minutes into the match, Rui Veiga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Floresta Negra FC's Almir Carneiro. Almir Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's José Carlos Hermes got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Rui Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almir Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Murilo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Floresta Negra FC's Almir Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Gonçalves in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Rui Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's Olavo Delgado got a free kick in the 29th minute. Geovanni Arósio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, António Branco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gonçalves in the 36th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Almir Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Valdemar de Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Branco. Viseu United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar de Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Orlando Cosme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of António Branco when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Gonçalves to make the kick off. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Valdemar de Mendonça hit a great ball. Valdemar de Mendonça took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for António Branco. Viseu United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Rui Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floresta Negra FC's Almir Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nico das Neves's late challenge caught a Viseu United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. António Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes Viseu United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdemar de Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Floresta Negra FC's Valdemar de Mendonça to fire away a dangerous shot which António Branco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Valdemar de Mendonça sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Branco skillfully saved the ball. Almir Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Veiga's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Orlando Cosme got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Veiga in the 82nd minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Almir Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Dieguinho Gaúcho got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viseu United! Viseu United:s António Branco showed great skill when he stopped Valdemar de Mendonça:s penalty. In the 90th minute, Valdemar de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 94th minute, José Carlos Hermes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Gonçalves during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Floresta Negra FC's Gabriel Freire was substituted for José Carlos Hermes. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's Carlos Gonçalves got a free kick in the 96th minute. Floresta Negra FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
