Kenny Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Van Meerbeec in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Lindqvist. Jeoffrey Wiggers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Nyman in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Van De Wiele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timmy Nyman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cedric Van Meerbeec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kenny Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Van De Wiele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Nyman in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VC zoetwater defense, Torbjörn Åhlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Van De Wiele. The VC zoetwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Van De Wiele should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jos Armentier got free with Kenny Forsberg in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Åhlberg in the 32nd minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Nils Van De Wiele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Timmy Nyman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Van De Wiele was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42nd match minute, Tunge Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Nordal to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Tunge Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Tunge Titans were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jos Armentier to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Van Linthaut to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Lindsten, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Tunge Titans getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lars-Erik Hellbom hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Nils Van De Wiele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Fred Van Hoeyveld fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC zoetwater's protests and gave Fred Van Hoeyveld a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Fred Van Hoeyveld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Van De Wiele was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabriel Nordal. Karl-Ove Lindqvist shot from long distance in the 75th minute, but Nils Van De Wiele was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Marc Van Linthaut got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Lindqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunge Titans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC zoetwater the free kick. In the 77th minute, Karl-Ove Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Åhlberg in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nils Van De Wiele, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Van Linthaut to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Niclas Lindsten from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Nils Van De Wiele's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 88 played minutes VC zoetwater got a freekick which was hit by Marc Van Linthaut. Jos Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Forsberg having to interfere. VC zoetwater's Edmond Coveliers suffered a sore thigh after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmy Nyman during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. VC zoetwater made a substitution. Robbrecht Caes replaced Edmond Coveliers. In the 95th minute, Timmy Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
