In the 4th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Donato to maneuver through the defense. Duda de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Ricardinho Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izaltina FAD and the ★RO★ NEW VISION ® players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardinho Arantes hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Izaltina FAD's Osmar Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vintilă Ecobescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Alcântara during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ★RO★ NEW VISION ® booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Osmar Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Ecobescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Duda de Sousa was slow to take the kick. During this time Izaltina FAD's players had a chance to rest. ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Vintilă Ecobescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Donato in the 33rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Cícero de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Boaru. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Izaltina FAD's Aníbal Vides was substituted for Dorival de Queiroz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petre Reznic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cícero de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Boaru in the 53rd minute of play. Vintilă Ecobescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Izaltina FAD's Duda de Sousa. But to his dismay, Duda de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Reznic came free, but Cícero de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ★RO★ NEW VISION ® getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Claudiu Aristide hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Luca Boaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cícero de Mendonça. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cícero de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the game, Aníbal Vides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Vintilă Ecobescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leandro Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Reznic in the 92nd minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Cícero de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Boaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cícero de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Boaru ran back to his position shaking his head. The ★RO★ NEW VISION ® supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Izaltina FAD's performance. The match ended with a win for Izaltina FAD.
