David Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 11 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Gervaso. In the 13th minute, Teobaldo Jeraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Jaru-Uaru's Válbson Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Aznar. Joaquin Aznar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Rik to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Linares hit a great ball. Ildefonso Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Ruben Garin had to leave the field with a concussion. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ildefonso Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vampiros Aztecas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vampiros Aztecas's Jonas Rik got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Schmidt in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Pedrinho Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Válbson Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaru-Uaru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Válbson Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joaquin Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vampiros Aztecas's Joaquin Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Rocha in the 68th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Schmidt came free, but Joaquin Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Aznar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jaru-Uaru's Válbson Rocha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Jonas Rik fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vampiros Aztecas's protests and gave Jonas Rik a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquin Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Rocha in the 82nd minute of play. Uriel Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Braulio Txerran fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vampiros Aztecas's protests and gave Braulio Txerran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Braulio Txerran hit a great ball. In the 88th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Txerran to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Gustavo Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Jaru-Uaru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
