Rörvik BK were furious when Kurt Torsberg was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rörvik BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Joakim Bocklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Vale in the 34th minute of play. Túlio Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Joakim Bocklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Rörvik BK's zone, Telmo Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Bocklund came out of the goal and Telmo Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Rörvik BK booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Vollander's late challenge caught a Nova Iguaçu MZFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egil Vollander helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Rocha in the 55th minute of play forced Rörvik BK's goalkeeper Joakim Bocklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Bocklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joakim Bocklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
