Christian Araoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Christian Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Sotil in the 31st minute of play. After 41 minutes, Wilfredo Marin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HFA FC and the Tama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilfredo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, HFA FC's Christian Araoz got control of the ball when Gonzalo Salbatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Leheren to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Mariano Sotil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Christian Araoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. HFA FC's Christian Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Sotil in the 56th minute of play. Christian Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Faustino Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Serafin Pudes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. HFA FC's Christian Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Sotil in the 79th minute of play. If Mariano Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Araoz having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Faustino Cordeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Serafin Pudes. The goal made the score 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Narciso Tohias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafin Pudes, 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HFA FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
