Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rui de Lima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Mineiro. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Amílton Sarmento got a free kick in the 6th minute. Amílton Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Sarmento. In the 16th minute of the match Anselmo Batista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Antunes skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Telmo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Dalmo Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Batista lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 41st minute, one of Nova Iguaçu MZFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nova Iguaçu MZFC. Nova Iguaçu MZFC:s Giuseppe Lara showed great skill when he stopped Edu da Cunha:s penalty. 46 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Rocha came free, but Sílvio Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmo Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luizinho Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amílton Sarmento was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Amílton Sarmento hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Edu da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Ferrari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. In the 56th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Vladimir Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Antunes skillfully saved the ball. Edu da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmo Rocha in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Antunes saved S.C. Ferrari from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Breno Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Ferrari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Breno Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's César Alagoano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Arthur Amaral was substituted for Túlio Vale. Sílvio Antunes came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Telmo Barbosa. But to his dismay, Telmo Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dalmo Rocha scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dalmo Rocha made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Barbosa came free, but Sílvio Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Guilherme Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Antunes. S.C. Ferrari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Nova Iguaçu MZFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
