Angel Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Barbosa in the 3rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dalmo Rocha sped through Rejunte de perros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angel Pierres. After 6 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Baleren. Rejunte de perros's Angel Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Rocha in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Horácio Simão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Pierres. Rejunte de perros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Simão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. César Alagoano scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Pierres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Dalmo Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Pierres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 18 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Barbosa came free, but Angel Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Kauldi. Telmo Barbosa scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Pierres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Dalmo Rocha notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Rejunte de perros's Angel Pierres. Angel Pierres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Rejunte de perros getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jaime Kauldi hit a great ball. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's César Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when César Alagoano came free, but Angel Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rejunte de perros's Angel Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Rocha in the 40th minute of play. César Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Garcia hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dalmo Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Angel Pierres was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and César Alagoano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. César Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. 59 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Angel Pierres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Vale. 65 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when César Alagoano came free, but Angel Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Tiaguinho Leme replaced Zé Carlos Cordeiro. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Guilherme Mandrak replaced Gernando Mineiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dalmo Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angel Pierres. That made the score 0-9 after 71 minutes of play. In the 75th minute, Rodrigo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Angel Pierres got control of the ball when Dalmo Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Rejunte de perros booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Leme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angel Pierres came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiaguinho Leme slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute, Tiaguinho Leme made a precise shot to the right of Angel Pierres. Rejunte de perros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Tiaguinho Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Rocha in the 96th minute of play. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
