Nemesio Fertus hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes, Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's Arnaldo Blasi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shane Steadman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Fertus came free, but Shane Steadman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Nemesio Fertus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Shane Steadman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Bettney in the 31st minute of play forced Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's goalkeeper Natalio Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's goalkeeper Natalio Koldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jake Yorke. Bill Britton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Koldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nemesio Fertus struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Shane Steadman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ. Garlic Eaters's Shane Steadman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Onbera in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Garlic Eaters's Louie Barfield got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Horacio Onbera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ and the Garlic Eaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Horacio Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Natalio Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Yorke in the 70th minute of the match. Shane Steadman made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Horacio Onbera sent off a good shot on target. Modesto Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Steadman having to interfere. When Rich Clegg fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garlic Eaters's protests and gave Rich Clegg a yellow card for diving instead. Garlic Eaters's Shane Steadman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Fertus in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Liam Bettney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
