None of the them looked very eager to play. 麦珂益 started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, 麦珂益 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes 苍穹拓荒者队 got a freekick which was hit by 于坚浩. 9 minutes into the game, Chance Womack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Patoruzu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 苍穹拓荒者队 the free kick. After 9 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Chance Womack. Atletico Patoruzu's Trey Randle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 麦珂益 in the 10th minute of play. 洪宁响 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Coulter in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chance Womack to maneuver through the defense. 洪宁响 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lucero in the 18th minute of play. 洪宁响 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chance Womack in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Roosevelt Sullivan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 苍穹拓荒者队's 洪宁响 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Roosevelt Sullivan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 洪宁响 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, 苍穹拓荒者队's 麦珂益 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trey Randle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in 苍穹拓荒者队's zone, Ivan Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 洪宁响 came out of the goal and Ivan Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 雷威平 during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 苍穹拓荒者队's 雷威平 got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Coulter in the 39th minute of play forced 苍穹拓荒者队's goalkeeper 洪宁响 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, 苍穹拓荒者队's goal looked a bit too open when Roosevelt Sullivan came free, but 洪宁响 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Theo Thomson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roosevelt Sullivan to make the kick off. Ivan Lucero scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 洪宁响, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Ivan Lucero notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of 苍穹拓荒者队's 洪宁响. 洪宁响 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Atletico Patoruzu booed when 苍穹拓荒者队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. 高克浩 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, 于坚浩 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trey Randle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Trey Randle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 高克浩 in the 87th minute of play. Atletico Patoruzu's Roosevelt Sullivan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merlin Whitley's late challenge caught a 苍穹拓荒者队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merlin Whitley helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 苍穹拓荒者队 booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
