After 3 played minutes Skollholmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Sjögren. The supporters of Skollholmen FC booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filinto Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Garanhão do SUL's zone, Stig Helström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Delgado came out of the goal and Stig Helström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skollholmen FC's Billy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Poças in the 12th minute of play. Silvério Sabrosa took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Falck. Billy Falck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Patrício Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romão Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Billy Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor Åkerberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Patrício Poças struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Billy Falck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garanhão do SUL. Billy Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Silvério Sabrosa made a precise shot to the right of Billy Falck. Skollholmen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Billy Falck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrício Poças's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. If Patrício Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Skollholmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Tor Åkerberg. 40 minutes into the match, Skollholmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romão Miranda came free, but Billy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrício Poças, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Helström hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when Skollholmen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Vennerkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romão Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Skollholmen FC's Eric Fridlund made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Delgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Billy Falck came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Patrício Poças. But to his dismay, Patrício Poças quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrício Poças got free with Billy Falck in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Sabrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Skollholmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Stig Helström. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when Skollholmen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Helström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Álvaro Calçada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Silvério Sabrosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Billy Falck. The goal made the score 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Calçada got free with Billy Falck in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro Calçada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Billy Falck made a huge save. Billy Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Sabrosa in the 88th minute of play. When Tor Åkerberg fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skollholmen FC's protests and gave Tor Åkerberg a yellow card for diving instead. Álvaro Calçada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Romão Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garanhão do SUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Romão Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Falck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Falck didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-8. When the match was over Garanhão do SUL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skollholmen FC throughout the match.
