I. got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Fortun. After a defensive mix-up in Q. T. I.'s zone, Patrício Poças stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Perrando came out of the goal and Patrício Poças tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Romão Miranda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filomeno Perrando. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Silvério Sabrosa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Q. T. I.'s Rodrigo Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Filomeno Perrando came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Patrício Poças. But to his dismay, Patrício Poças quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gaudencio Chaime hit a great ball. Jacinto Cidro scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Delgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes, Gaston Stanislao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Q. T. I. and the Garanhão do SUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gaston Stanislao hit a great ball. Filomeno Perrando came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda. But to his dismay, Romão Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Gaston Stanislao kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Q. T. I.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romão Miranda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raimundo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cruz in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romão Miranda was the one to do the kick off. Patrício Poças charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrício Poças the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Patrício Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Brochado hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gaston Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Q. T. I.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garanhão do SUL's Raimundo Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. When Maximiliano Blasco fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Q. T. I.'s protests and gave Maximiliano Blasco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Blasco to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Poças came free, but Filomeno Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patrício Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Poças. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aristides Brochado hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Jacinto Cidro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Delgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Sabrosa in the 91st minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Filomeno Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
