The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Walmyr Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Stanislao during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute Diguinho Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Quintal during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jairo Quintal hit a great ball. When Diguinho Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Toa Toa 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diguinho Nunes couldn't finish the play. If Diguinho Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 42nd minute of the match Jairo Quintal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jairo Quintal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Cuartio during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Abar in the 45th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper João Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Freitas came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Q. T. I.'s Rodrigo Cruz. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diguinho Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Nunes in the 57th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Filomeno Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Alves to maneuver through the defense. João Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cruz in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Acácio de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toa Toa 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Doriva Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Raí Viana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filomeno Perrando. The goal made the score 1-2. 81 minutes into the game, Jaime Abar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. João Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toa Toa 4EVER's Doriva Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Raí Viana suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 93 minutes of play Q. T. I.'s Gaston Stanislao was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Stanislao to maneuver through the defense. Walmyr Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Alves in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 99th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Toa Toa 4EVER succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Q. T. I. had controlled the match.
