Xentrias's Jörn Albohm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juras Biknius in the 7 minute of the game. Christoffer Öberg took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Audrius Dūdėnas. Audrius Dūdėnas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Jonathan Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Busk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Valentas Daunoras. After some careless play in the FC Pegasas Siauliai defense, Göran Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Audrius Dūdėnas. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Audrius Dūdėnas should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Lidman came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juras Biknius's late challenge caught a Xentrias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juras Biknius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, FC Pegasas Siauliai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juras Biknius to maneuver through the defense. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Lidman in the 27th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Marius Kieža who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xentrias's Stig Busk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Göran Lidman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Lidman came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Aleksander Bank got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Lidman came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffer Öberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Göran Lidman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Audrius Dūdėnas made a huge save. Audrius Dūdėnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Svanström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Göran Lidman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Audrius Dūdėnas. Göran Lidman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Audrius Dūdėnas was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Göran Lidman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Göran Lidman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Sebastian Svanström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xentrias's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Svanström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Audrius Dūdėnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xentrias's Christoffer Öberg got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Juras Biknius. With a little luck, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas got control of the ball when Göran Lidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xentrias's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
