In the 15th minute Marius Kieža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valentas Daunoras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Marius Kieža sped through Anga FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornelio Franco. 23 minutes into the game, one of FC Pegasas Siauliai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Audrius Dūdėnas, was totally fooled by Anga FC's Americo Ayala, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Americo Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 29th match minute, Anga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Ayala to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gintautas Jameikis's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. FC Pegasas Siauliai were furious when Juras Biknius was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Marijus Guzas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. FC Pegasas Siauliai's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Anga FC's Cornelio Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marijus Guzas in the 62nd minute of play. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Pegasas Siauliai.
