Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lunáticos FC's Anísio da Mata started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerzy Duszenski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu da Fonseca in the 3rd minute of the match. After 9 minutes FA Sandtown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu da Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. Lucjan Topolski's late challenge caught a Lunáticos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Topolski helped the player get up and apologised. Lucjan Topolski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jerzy Duszenski came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunáticos FC's Cafu da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Cafu da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Lunáticos FC booed when FA Sandtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Miecznikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Miecznikowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Waldir Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bogdan Miecznikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbyszek Zahemski took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Gaspar. Waldir Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zbyszek Zahemski kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Rômulo Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Duszenski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 33rd match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Kapinos to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Anísio da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunáticos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Lucjan Topolski got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half Lunáticos FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Silvério Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunáticos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FA Sandtown the free kick. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Sakowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. FA Sandtown's Bogdan Miecznikowski got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Zahemski. During the 91st minute of the match Silvério Madureira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Silvério Madureira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes Lunáticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Madureira. The Lunáticos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lunáticos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
