Durvalino Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Meadow Village fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Meadow Village's Stellan Lundström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute Anísio da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio da Mata in the 22nd minute of the match. Durvalino Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Hermansson in the 25th minute. Niklas Lingren's late challenge caught a Lunáticos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Lingren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Niklas Lingren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meadow Village's Alex Albom shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Durvalino Donatello but with some difficulty. Meadow Village's Joacim Barck got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Anders Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio da Mata in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lunáticos FC's zone, Stellan Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durvalino Donatello came out of the goal and Stellan Lundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Meadow Village booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Meadow Village getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bertil Hultstrand hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Lunáticos FC's Anísio da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anders Abrahamsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fábio de Medeiros during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Meadow Village's Stellan Lundström in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lunáticos FC's Durvalino Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Lundström in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Meadow Village's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio da Mata came free, but Anders Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Meadow Village support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
