With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Anaya in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Dracena saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Baiano in the 23rd minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Delmar Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ruben Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Mendez couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Delmar Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio do Valle in the 36th minute of the match. SE Palmeiras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Federico Anaya scored to the left of an out of position Nilson Dracena, making the score, 4-0. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Perivaldo Salles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Mateus Pitta got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Anaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Anaya took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 71 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Ongile came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Mendez took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Nunez Oso replaced Marcial Maju. Nilson Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Ongile in the 78th minute of play. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Anaya in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Silvano Ongile hit a great ball. Delmar Quin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Dracena having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Mandiyu fully deserved thier win.
