Stellan Lundström charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stellan Lundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Meadow Village getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Stellan Lundström hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Otto Hermansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Beto Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lunáticos FC booed when Meadow Village was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Valrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio da Mata got free with Anders Abrahamsson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Meadow Village's Alex Albom got a free kick in the 25th minute. Chiquinho Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Otto Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Souto was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Chiquinho Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lunáticos FC's zone, Otto Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beto Souto came out of the goal and Otto Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Coelho got free with Anders Abrahamsson in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes of play, Meadow Village's Joacim Barck made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Lunáticos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meadow Village were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anísio da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Stellan Lundström took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Beto Souto to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Meadow Village's Sverker Valrot got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Alex Albom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beto Souto. Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 70 played minutes Lunáticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio de Medeiros. A long shot from Alex Albom in the 73rd minute of play was well struck, but Beto Souto made a really good save at the right post. A hard shot 79 in the game by Otto Hermansson from a close distance when the talented Beto Souto managed to make a qualified save. Lunáticos FC's players were relieved. In the 88th minute Stellan Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Lunáticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Coelho. Lunáticos FC's Beto Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lunáticos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute Stellan Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meadow Village were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Lunáticos FC's much stronger midfield.
