Thanos Kotridis's late challenge caught a Invisible's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Kotridis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Thanos Kotridis hit a great ball. Kostas Tziolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Clodoveo Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Tziolas in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Aresti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Olympiacos FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Olympiacos FC's Kostas Tziolas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 24 played minutes Invisible got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Orlandus. Invisible's Clodoveo Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Tziolas in the 26th minute of play. Alexis Dellios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Clodoveo Aresti made a huge save. Invisible's Clodoveo Aresti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Invisible from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Michalis Meletis hit a great ball. Aldo Orlandus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fondas Kalantas having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Invisible got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Orlandus. Thanos Kotridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Clodoveo Aresti made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Theofilos Touboulis got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Viktoras Papoutsatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Laurgain in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fondas Kalantas saved Olympiacos FC from getting behind. Fondas Kalantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When Dario Abaunza fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invisible's protests and gave Dario Abaunza a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, Olympiacos FC's Theofilos Touboulis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Aresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Tziolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelios Karapostolou made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Michalis Meletis immediately put the ball in play. Celso Mederi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
