An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Etor in the 11th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Alvino Galnares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Andoitz Talavera. 21 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Cesario came free, but Alvino Galnares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Andoitz Talavera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Norberto Mero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Salud y República's Vito Justo got a free kick in the 34th minute. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Norberto Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. from getting a goal against them. Osoro Raya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Norberto Mero made a huge save. Manuel Loreto lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salud y República:s goal. In the 44th minute, Luis-Miguel Jubera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Mero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
