Salomone Fräfel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Antoine Maddox came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rägi's Andor Witzig. But to his dismay, Andor Witzig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Earl Croteau fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qikiqtarjuaq FC's protests and gave Earl Croteau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earl Croteau to maneuver through the defense. When Darnell Valle fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qikiqtarjuaq FC's protests and gave Darnell Valle a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Darnell Valle hit a great ball. Antoine Maddox came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rägi's Andor Witzig. But to his dismay, Andor Witzig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Raymundo Dooley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ingvar Bourdette made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Anthony Woodruff got a free kick in the 28th minute. Detlev Caluzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antoine Maddox. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antoine Maddox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andor Witzig in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, FC Rägi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Marcolongo to maneuver through the defense. If Raymundo Dooley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Bourdette made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Raymundo Dooley sent off a good shot on target. Antoine Maddox didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andor Witzig went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andor Witzig to make the kick off. Anthony Woodruff charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Isai Emmenegers short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Antoine Maddox to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Antoine Maddox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Buschor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Antoine Maddox when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Antoine Maddox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andor Witzig in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Antoine Maddox had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Buschor. A collision led to FC Rägi getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Salomone Fräfel hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Earl Croteau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earl Croteau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Rägi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
