After 7 played minutes Renascença A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Berger. A collision led to Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lonzo Trincado hit a great ball. Fernando Collantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Fernando Collantes got control of the ball when Fernando Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Luiz Guilherme Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Lonzo Trincado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Freire. Renascença A.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lonzo Trincado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Christobal Riazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Luiz Guilherme Monteiro put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Renascença A.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan:s goal. Renascença A.C.:s Fred Freire showed great skill when he stopped Frantxizko Millares:s penalty. Frantxizko Millares took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Freire. Fred Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fred Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frantxizko Millares, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Valdir Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Kauã Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Fernando Collantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Renascença A.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Celsinho Nunes hit a great ball. Christobal Riazos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fred Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christobal Riazos was the one to do the kick off. Fred Freire made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Christobal Riazos sent off a good shot on target. Gomesano Barrufet's late challenge caught a Renascença A.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gomesano Barrufet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Gomesano Barrufet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdir Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Fernando Collantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Renascença A.C.. Fred Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christobal Riazos's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Fred Freire came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Frantxizko Millares. But to his dismay, Frantxizko Millares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 82 minutes into the match, Renascença A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lonzo Trincado came free, but Fred Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lonzo Trincado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fred Freire. That made the score 0-5 in the 84 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Lonzo Trincado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lonzo Trincado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christobal Riazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christobal Riazoss short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Fred Freire to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
