In the 2nd minute, Apolo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Apolo Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Serwach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Club El Progreso's Artemio Hegoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucjan Ciupierdo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club El Progreso reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Guerau in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Ciupierdo saved Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Humberto Guerau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 25thth minute of the game Humberto Guerau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Lucjan Ciupierdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florencio Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Kochowski in the 28th minute of play. Radomir Piszczor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Apolo Ramos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Lucjan Ciupierdo. Lucjan Ciupierdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Adam Kochowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 38th minute, Adam Kochowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Radomir Piszczor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Piszczor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Jaen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tombolo Wa Kadima Von Euler-Chelpin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Ciupierdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Guerau in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Kochowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Adam Kochowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Jaen was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Adam Kochowski in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Guerau got free with Lucjan Ciupierdo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Radomir Piszczor got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Kochowski came free, but Florencio Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Lucjan Ciupierdo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tombolo Wa Kadima Von Euler-Chelpin to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lucjan Ciupierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radomir Piszczor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Jaen having to interfere. In the 76th minute Artemio Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Ciupierdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tombolo Wa Kadima Von Euler-Chelpin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Artemio Hegoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Ciupierdo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Florencio Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Kochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Humberto Guerau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Lucjan Ciupierdo 85 minutes into the match. Lucjan Ciupierdo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Apolo Ramos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. Artemio Hegoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Ciupierdo having to make a save.
