Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Aracena in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Alebom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Bengt-Rune Alebom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Angelo Aracena struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bengt-Rune Alebom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magallanes. Bengt-Rune Alebom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Aracena in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, GreenSkar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Aracena came free, but Bengt-Rune Alebom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Aracenas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Bengt-Rune Alebom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Alebom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bengt-Rune Alebom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Haeger to strike the kick off in the second half. Herminio Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Alebom having to interfere. Magallanes's Angelo Aracena got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Angelo Aracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GreenSkar FC the free kick. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Alebom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso in the 89th minute of play forced GreenSkar FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Herminio Quintero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bengt-Rune Alebom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso in the 96th minute of play.
