Alberto Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Marcelo Delgado let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 5th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Delgado in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Sena saved C.R.FlaBrasília from getting behind. A hard shot 10 in the game by Marcelo Delgado from a close distance when the talented Alberto Sena managed to make a qualified save. C.R.FlaBrasília's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Marcelo Delgado took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alberto Sena to make any attempt to save it. In the 14thth minute of the game Marcelo Delgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.R.FlaBrasília's Alberto Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when C.R.FlaBrasília was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Marcelo Delgado put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Sena. In the 23rd match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Selatse to maneuver through the defense. Frontera AFC's Marcelo Delgado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Marcelo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alberto Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.R.FlaBrasília's zone, Marcelo Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Sena came out of the goal and Marcelo Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.R.FlaBrasília's Alberto Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save C.R.FlaBrasília from getting a goal against them. Carlos Alberto Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Alberto Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Delgado in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Delgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sena having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Adan Ponc got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Alejo Calixto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Frontera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Calixto couldn't finish the play. Alberto Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Delgado's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Frontera AFC's Kevin Zenón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Alberto Sena came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Frontera AFC's Alejo Calixto. But to his dismay, Alejo Calixto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. There was no doubt that Frontera AFC were the better team. Frontera AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
