After 3 minutes of play, FFC Merainies 03's Nigel Willemse made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Kinsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! FFC Merainies 03's Fabrice Bemmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Palben in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lobo to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Deinse struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Edgardo Kinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FFC Merainies 03. Fabrice Bemmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Urbez in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Silvestre Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Ixaka's late challenge caught a FFC Merainies 03's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Ixaka helped the player get up and apologised. Silvano Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Edgardo Kinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Willemse in the 17th minute of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Silvano Ixaka suffered a concussion after 21 minutes and had to leave the field. After 21 minutes, Ronny Deinse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FFC Merainies 03 and the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Deinse. If René van Hintum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Deinse in the 28th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Edgardo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René van Hintum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nigel Willemse got free with Edgardo Kinsen in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Edgardo Kinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Urbez made a kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Ronny Deinse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Deinse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nico-Jan Roeles hit a great ball. Agustin Elija took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrice Bemmel. Fabrice Bemmel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Edgardo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Speelman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Lobo. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Silvestre Marcones hit a great ball. Jan Hoven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Kinsen. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Elija during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Elija. Edgardo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Speelman in the 78th minute of play. Nigel Willemse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edgardo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arda Bemmel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Martino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ronny Deinse managed to get in a good position for a shot. FFC Merainies 03's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Deinse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Edgardo Kinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Speelman in the 95th minute of play. Despite being the better team, FFC Merainies 03 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
