Prudencio Bilbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Fabrice Bemmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Arce in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Vicente Izel hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Jairo Erramun fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s protests and gave Jairo Erramun a yellow card for diving instead.
