Váldson Berger helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Benavente in the 11th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Paulão Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adán Tejo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adán Tejo hit a great ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eustaquio York ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FSX UNITED's Florián Badilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulão Negri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CE LAJEADENSE RS had won after a very even match.
