After 9 minutes Tello AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustaquio York who took care of the corner kick. Donato Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florián Badilla in the 11th minute of play. Alvar Pantoja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Kismi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Florián Badilla took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Donato Paublo to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florián Badilla in the 22nd minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Donato Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Kismi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tello AFC booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrico Liendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Laferte kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Donato Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florián Badilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes Tello AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustaquio York who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FSX UNITED's Eustaquio York to fire away a dangerous shot which Donato Paublo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alfonso Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florián Badilla to make the kick off. Donato Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufemio Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Albin Zambrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSX UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Zambrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Florián Badilla hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Semeno came free, but Alvar Pantoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Florián Badilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Angeloni, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florián Badilla in the 78th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Donato Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio Semeno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvar Pantoja. That made the score 1-2 in the 84 minute of play. Tello AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
