After a defensive mix-up in O rey Iván's zone, Ognyan Elmazov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Haitz came out of the goal and Ognyan Elmazov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tencho Genchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Paio in the 36th minute of the match. Cesar Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tencho Genchev having to interfere. Aurelio Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tencho Genchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The DOROSTOL Ss players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. O rey Iván were winning 0-1.

Zheko Radushev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Haitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Ognyan Elmazov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Haitz having to interfere. With an all-out effort, O rey Iván's Tencho Genchev threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelio Paio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Paio in the 81st minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Tencho Genchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The O rey Iván fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when O rey Iván's Aurelio Paio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The DOROSTOL Ss supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching O rey Iván's performance. The match ended with a win for O rey Iván.
