In the 3rd minute, Dries Dirckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brugge United's zone, Min Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Panhuijsen came out of the goal and Min Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Min Abajas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudy Panhuijsen. Brugge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Min Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Dries Dirckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Dries Dirckx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gandolfo Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Evert-Jan Jaddon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brugge United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Un dia de partit the free kick. Dries Dirckx's late challenge caught a F.C Un dia de partit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dries Dirckx helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dries Dirckx hit a great ball. Rudy Panhuijsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Min Abajas in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, F.C Un dia de partit's Eustaquio Gil got a free kick in the 34th minute. Eustaquio Gil struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Rudy Panhuijsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Un dia de partit. Brugge United's Rudy Panhuijsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Min Abajas in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Dries Dirckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rudy Panhuijsen made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Min Abajas sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Rudy Panhuijsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 58 minutes of play Brugge United's Dries Dirckx was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 59 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Dries Dirckx. Dries Dirckx hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. F.C Un dia de partit's Quintin Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Brugge United's Rudy Panhuijsen got control of the ball when Min Abajas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atauri Perpiñán kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. F.C Un dia de partit were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
