With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Meys in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gandolfo Sánchez saved F.C Un dia de partit from getting behind. Dries Dirckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gandolfo Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Brugge United's Rudy Panhuijsen got control of the ball when Min Abajas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Sebastian Sevenans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gandolfo Sánchez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Atauri Perpiñán fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C Un dia de partit's protests and gave Atauri Perpiñán a yellow card for diving instead. Rudy Panhuijsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gandolfo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dries Dirckx in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Brugge United were awarded a corner. Dries Dirckx went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dries Dirckx almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez did a great save. Rudy Panhuijsen made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Min Abajas sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Wyns to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Atauri Perpiñán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Un dia de partit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atauri Perpiñán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Cosme Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Panhuijsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Gil got free with Rudy Panhuijsen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C Un dia de partit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Meys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gandolfo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Sevenans in the 56th minute of the match. Cosme Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Panhuijsen having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Jochen Diericx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gandolfo Sánchez. Jochen Diericx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Brugge United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
