After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Martin Tancredo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match Formentera got a corner. Club Almirante Brown's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alonzo Vincente ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alonzo Vincente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Almirante Brown's Oscar Leoncio did a great save. Arnulfo Seme hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Peter to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Laurentzi in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Denis Vimaro got a free kick in the 36th minute. Club Almirante Brown's Oscar Leoncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Almirante Brown from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Peter to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Erubiel Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Club Almirante Brown's Reynaldo Tadzio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Prudencio Otsoko but with some difficulty. 74 minutes into the game, Urbano Eguntsenti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Almirante Brown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. Club Almirante Brown's Oscar Leoncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Roderigo in the 76th minute of play. Edgard Rodas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Enrique Porfirio charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Porfirio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Porfirio. Formentera's Alonzo Vincente couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Almirante Brown. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Christian Jerrald hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
