The supporters of Super Penalitop booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Clemente Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Penalitop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Adornio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Vincente. Alonzo Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Berto having to interfere. Robustiano Policarpio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Prudencio Otsoko made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ramiro Marra sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 42 minutes, Manuel Adornio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Penalitop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Adornio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Adornio made a kick off. Eustacio Bieito struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Prudencio Otsoko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Penalitop. After a rather tough play, Super Penalitop's Anastasio Ixidor got a free kick in the 56th minute. Formentera's Alonzo Vincente shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manuel Berto but with some difficulty. Manuel Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Oriche in the 68th minute of play. Prudencio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Marra in the 71st minute of play. Pastor Oriche's late challenge caught a Super Penalitop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. Prudencio Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Adornio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Super Penalitop getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Celso Criston hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Formentera's Arnulfo Seme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Berto. Manuel Berto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The supporters of Formentera booed when Super Penalitop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Formentera supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Formentera would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
