Mateo Primeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stasio Japola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Primeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Primeiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Bladi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquiles Bladi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Wlodzimierz Wozniak was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 87 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Gustavo Lizar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
