The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tristan Brincks during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Randkleve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Brincks didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Martin Oinatz in the 3rd minute really tested Eilif Hørmand's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eilif Hørmand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Karmel in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Tristan Brincks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgard Guillen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikolas Blegaa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Niki Boldsø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Guillen. La Candela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niki Boldsø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Edgard Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Boldsø in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Randkleve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Naut to maneuver through the defense. Matias Reinbothe hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Felix Iturri took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eilif Hørmand. Eilif Hørmand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Eilif Hørmand was a little too slow when Felix Iturri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Brincks in the 48th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Edgard Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angel Taurino to strike the kick off in the second half. Tristan Brincks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgard Guillen came out and tried to block the shot, but Tristan Brincks slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 57th minute. Nikolas Blegaa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Martin Oinatz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eilif Hørmand. Randkleve's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Randkleve's Terry Naut shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edgard Guillen but with some difficulty. After 75 minutes, Nikolas Blegaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Randkleve and the La Candela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, one of Randkleve:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Randkleve. 78 minutes into the game, Constantino Cordarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Randkleve the free kick. In the 78th minute, Constantino Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Angel Taurino made a precise shot to the right of Eilif Hørmand. Randkleve's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When Freddy Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Karmel couldn't finish the play.
