Hondo Iribarria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hondo Iribarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xano Odín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Corias charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Corias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Berenjenas de Punto Fijo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mauricio Corias hit a great ball. Pepito Loza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Corias in the 26th minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Siro Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xose Jorquera kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Pepito Loza. Siro Casillas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Quijada in the 32nd minute. When Sigfrido Teruel fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Armal F.C.'s protests and gave Sigfrido Teruel a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Teruel. A hard shot by Ramond Mascareñas from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Siro Casillas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Siro Casillas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hondo Iribarria came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Armal F.C.'s Sigfrido Teruel. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Teruel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 39th minute Xano Odín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hondo Iribarria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Mauricio Corias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Xano Odín came free, but Hondo Iribarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Corias made a kick off. Siro Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalvador Guixot in the 53rd minute of play. When Xano Odín came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Real Armal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xano Odín couldn't finish the play. If Gilen Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Mauricio Corias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Casillas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 66 minutes of play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Mauricio Corias made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Casillas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Siro Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Corias, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th match minute, Real Armal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilen Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xalvador Guixot during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Siro Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael Mosquera's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Ramond Mascareñas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Siro Casillas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
