The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when Palau Końskowola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Kaszubik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The coaching staff of Palau Końskowola protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ziemowit Rode had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. José Paulo Almeida shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Arlindo Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ksawery Awizo went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ksawery Awizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palau Końskowola's goalkeeper Teofil Watarz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Palau Końskowola's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tróia came free, but Teofil Watarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ATHLETICO PRaiano's zone, Bogumil Ikalewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Romero came out of the goal and Bogumil Ikalewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 minutes, Jan Nowak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palau Końskowola and the ATHLETICO PRaiano players grew even worse after the yellow card.
