Joonas Järve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Renato Pena took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joonas Järve to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute Alberto Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonas Järve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Drunken Sea Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Ken Tänav. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alberto Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joonas Järve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joonas Järve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joonas Järve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Arruda in the 22nd minute of the match. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Iuri Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tróia came free, but Joonas Järve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joonas Järve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Pena's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes, Aksel Paulus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drunken Sea Monkeys and the ATHLETICO PRaiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Drunken Sea Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Aksel Paulus. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Renato Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Renato Pena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joonas Järve. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of Drunken Sea Monkeys booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Drunken Sea Monkeys getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Henrik Tombak hit a great ball. José Paulo Almeida did an outstanding performance 67 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 4-0 to the right of an irritated Joonas Järve in the goal. Gugu Leme took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joonas Järve. Joonas Järve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 78 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Almeida. In the 82nd minute Renato Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonas Järve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Drunken Sea Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tambet Laanemaa to maneuver through the defense. Renato Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renato Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Drunken Sea Monkeys defense, Alberto Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joonas Järve. The Drunken Sea Monkeys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joonas Järve should have stopped the shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
