The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Harri Kaalep was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA-LULIN the free kick. In the 2nd minute, one of Drunken Sea Monkeys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Drunken Sea Monkeys. With a little luck, CSKA-LULIN's Avgust Ilkov got control of the ball when Peep Normann tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drunken Sea Monkeys's Gert Naer got a free kick in the 13th minute. Velyo Tonchev kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Joonas Järve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mladen Didov in the 17th minute of the match. Joonas Järve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mladen Didov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peep Normann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th match minute, CSKA-LULIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volodya Feredzhanov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CSKA-LULIN's Nencho Gyumishev got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joonas Järve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mladen Didov in the 36th minute of play. Avgust Ilkov made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Peep Normann sent off a good shot on target. Peep Normann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Avgust Ilkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CSKA-LULIN's Avgust Ilkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viljar Niidumaa in the 43rd minute of play. Ken Tänav kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Volodya Feredzhanov made the kick off in the second half. Avgust Ilkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Normann, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Peep Normann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drunken Sea Monkeys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Viljar Niidumaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avgust Ilkov having to make a save. In the 63rd minute Viljar Niidumaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgust Ilkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joonas Järve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mladen Didov in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Mladen Didov came free, but Joonas Järve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, CSKA-LULIN's Volodya Feredzhanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joonas Järve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aksel Paulus hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Joonas Järve was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Preslav Yonevski. After 93 played minutes CSKA-LULIN got a freekick which was hit by Adalbert Svilenski. Avgust Ilkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Reiljan in the 94th minute of play. The CSKA-LULIN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSKA-LULIN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
